After such a good night we wake to seizures this morning,π£my little helper pushed through pipers meds at 7am, Piper slept peacefully until 9 with the seizures again taking hold. Physio arriving at 9:30 the most enjoyable time of our little girls day,
usually ready to greet with a smile and a knowing glance at the ladies who come to play.
Piper is quite unaware this is therapy, although she's rolled, strapped, supported and held into positions this is the time she's praised for the clever little moments
in her day for the grasp of a toy, for the hands that come together to make a soft clap, for the leg that kicks, for the eyes that follow and the head that lifts unsupported, these are the moments that brighten our day and keep us pushing for a better tomorrow.
Today there is no smile, our lovely ladies will continue to provide interaction and stimulation they too can see this little body crying out, there is a little girl desperate to play.
Eyes open briefly and hands try to clap, today it's just too much.
Today Pipers lovely worker will sit by her side massaging her legs and telling piper of her day, she will sing nursery rhymes, and read stories of cupcake eating fairies while piper listens to a familiar happy voice.
this beautiful interaction and
support is a timely reminder of just how blessed we are to have such outstanding services available to us in our community.
